Control of the Smelting process

Step by step after each tapping or after each refining treatment, the control of the reduction process can be done by analysing the Tin slag. A XRF system has been bought : Niton XL2T

The equipment for the sample preparation needs to be check with a chemist. He will probably propose two solutions:

•  press tablets
•  Fused beads.

The system we used by the past was the press tablets system and it has given good results.
